About Mireille Desrosiers, RP
“Therapy in your own language — your real language, not the one you perform for the world — is a different kind of healing.”
Mireille Desrosiers is a registered psychotherapist working with Haitian-Canadian individuals and families in Montreal and across Quebec. She is one of the few therapists in Canada who practices fluently in all three of her community’s languages.
Her practice focuses on the second-generation experience — grown children of Haitian immigrants navigating the distance between who their parents are and who they are becoming.
How my background shapes my work
My parents came from Haiti. I grew up translating for them at the bank, at school, at the doctor. I know what it means to be the one who bridges worlds. My practice is for everyone who has ever been that person.

Recommendations
Mireille personally recommends the following wellness spaces. These are facilities they trust and would refer their own clients to. Each recommendation earns that facility a badge on ActivePace — the more practitioners who recommend a space, the higher its recognition level grows.

How the recommendation loop works
When Mireille recommends a facility, that space earns a professional badge on ActivePace. The facility posts a crest with a QR code in their space. Members scan it — and land on a directory showing practitioners like Mireille. Practitioners grow their reach. Facilities earn community trust. The loop completes.
