About Camille Joseph, RD
“Nutrition that works for you has to include the foods that mean something to you. Doubles on Friday, callaloo on Sunday — these are not obstacles. They are the starting point.”
Camille Joseph is a registered dietitian specializing in Caribbean nutrition — building evidence-based meal plans that honour your cultural food practices and traditional recipes rather than asking you to abandon them.
Born to Trinidadian parents and raised in Scarborough, Camille understands how food is identity, community, and love in Caribbean families. Her practice bridges the nutritional science she studied with the cultural kitchen she grew up in.
How my background shapes my work
I grew up Indo-Caribbean in a home where every meal was an act of love. My practice is built on the belief that your heritage and your health goals are not in conflict.

How the recommendation loop works
When Camille recommends a facility, that space earns a professional badge on ActivePace. The facility posts a crest with a QR code in their space. Members scan it — and land on a directory showing practitioners like Camille. Practitioners grow their reach. Facilities earn community trust. The loop completes.
